Physiotherapy is the treatment of physical
conditions by natural means.
Chartered physiotherapists treat physical problems and
pain by natural means using varied skills gained over
years of pre- and post-graduate training. Ongoing Continual
Professional Development (CPD) is undertaken to maintain
and improve clinical standards.
The aim of physiotherapy is to identify the problem,
alleviate pain, restore normal movement and facilitate
and maximise recovery using core skills including manual
therapy, manipulation, therapeutic exercises and electrical
treatment modalities.
A wide view is taken of a patient’s condition and
lifestyle to treat appropriately and avoid recurrence. |
